Okay, I don't know a thing about Google Sketchup but this should most certainly work.

Google Sketchup creates images, correct? The problem is that the image is in an unsupported file format OR you can't get the file.

What you should do is open the image in Google Sketchup, then make sure that your screen is looking at it. Move the mouse off of the image. Now press "Print Screen" or "Printscrn" etc. This will copy an image of EVERYTHING on the screen to the clipboard.

Now open Paint or Photoshop, etc. and then just press Ctrl+V to paste it in. Now crop all the unwanted parts of the image away, and save. Now you should be able to use it.

I know this can be done. i have done it. what i did was, sketchup allows you to create an animation(*.avi) i simply made the avi file then opened the avi in a video editor( i have jasc animation shop) and take the single picture from there. I think windows still includes aviedit free

with windows i think it's called amcap.exe
