I am a new network admin with a small open source/non-profit tech community, and right now I am working to build an IRC network full of, techs, gamers, web developers, graphic artists etc. However I am not directly connected to a web developer, and finding a good developer to work with has not been so easy.

So my question is, as a web developer, do you know any good ways to find developers that would be interested in helping me out? I can offer a chat channel where web developers can get together and can own and operate it yourself. In exchange I hope to meet a new developer or one who would be willing to help build a basic wordpress.org tech site.

Thank you for any help you can suggest,
Salem

Really you just need to spend a little time learning and looking around. If you know basic html and css, (you could learn in 3 days) then learn how to use something like Drupal, you should be on your way to developing anything yourself. Also, do a google search for anything you want, such as 'open source chat client' or 'free php chat client script'. You'll be amazed at how many free open source scripts are available. Then you'd simply need to adapt the style to suit.

I do not know approximately rate however like different solutions it depends upon which capability and points you desire to put into effect on your social networking internet site. And for opting for among freelancers and enterprise, As consistent with Article i'm sharing with you i advocate you to head for a enterprise. Your internet site is not going to want simplest progress competencies however greater than that and you'll no longer discover all competencies in a single freelancers that style of freelancers are infrequent and they're dearer that firms too.
