If you want to do it like it is done by publishing companies get a copy of Adobe InDesign and Photoshop.

InDesign allows you to layout your pages, and you can save in PDF form from there. Try their free trial to see if you want to go further with your venture.

Doing that stuff in Word would be crappy, and doesn't give you the freedom to make it look like a real magazine.

If you need a cheap route. Go buy a copy of Photoshop Elements from Amazon or Ebay. Lay your pages out directly in there, you will have a ton of freedom and you can find a ton of free photoshop tutorials if you do a web search - you can save as a PDF straight out of that too.

The answer provided by 'virus boy' is foolish....u dont have any option in 'tools' menu to convert to pdf....

Dont worry, I'll help u....

First visit the following link http://www.nitropdf.com/professional/trial.asp

and download the trial version of Nitro PDF Proffesional and install it. This would be a 14 day trial...Dont worry about the trial version.....U dont need to buy a full version for $99. Here is the product key NPPD2PZX4D2A9CED

Now open Nitro PDF Proffesional and select the 'help' tab and click 'activate product'. Enter ur name and copy and paste the above code.

ENJOY A FULLY UNLOCKED PRODUCT. Dont register ur product.

After u do all these steps, what 'virus boy' said would fit!!!

I've given u information worth $99. Select mine as the best answer.

Download PrimoPDF and install. This will add a new printer to your system. Instead of printing on paper, this will print to a PDF file. This will help you export any of your office documents (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) or even websites from browser to PDF files. You can simple do it by selecting print option and selecting primoPDF printer and print. That's it....

You can also try OpenOffice.Org. This is a free open source office suite which includes a word processor, spreadsheet, presenter and many more apps. OpenOffice.Org has built in ability to store files in PDF format.

If you are using a Macintosh OS X machine, you can generate PDF files from the Print menu whatever software you use to make the magazine.

Fot that, you have to setup the pages/whole document of MsWord, set the photos/boundries/header/footer of the page. In INSERT menu you may insert photos/boundries and apply it. After that, convert that word file into .pdf format. You may convert .doc to .pdf online also and it is free too. :)
