Make sure you have one file in your root (public_html) directory called index.html. This is your home page. Next, clear your browser's cache, go to your site and do a refresh (F5). If it still doesn't show and you just started your site within the last few hours, then you will have to wait until the servers pick up your named servers. Takes from 24- 48 hours. Sometimes less.

Whenever using any FTP program with it open and you edit then upload, be sure to ALWAYS do a refresh in the FTP's local window or you will just upload the old file again.

(1) Ensure you have signed OFF Filezilla

(2) Make sure you Refresh the page in your browser! You may even have to go into your browser's preferences/options and where it says delete temporary files, purge the cache. Then quit the browser and start it again. (See, what happened is, you have the OLD copy of the website in your browser's memory!) Give'er time. It'll get there.

Sorry for the stupid answer, but whenever this happens to me, I uploaded into the wrong folder, mistyped the URL or something like that ;)

Another reason could be your hosting company. Some of them won't let you upload directly to the apache's htdocs folder, but give you access to a tempomary folder that syncs with htdocs automatically. That syncing process is not running for some reason.

I bet you already tried that, but you should also clear your browser cache. It's Ctrl+Shift+R in Firefox.

Hello,

Try clearing your cache of your computer. Close your browser completely and go to the start menu and type cmd and hit enter. Once the prompt opens, type ifconfig /flushdns This will clear your local cache. Good Luck!

Good Luck!

sounds like it is updated, could be your browser is showing cached information - set it so it loads the page everytime it opens it
