I know Core JAVA and JDBC from J2EE and had done projects on them. I have 6 years of programming experience on application and web development for Govt Of India. What other parts of JAVA should I learn to match myself with the latest industry standard?

if you are interested in java you can proceed j2ee.

like JSP,servlet,ejb,stuts ect

u can also lern the java mail api,web services,JMS,JMF,ect

J2ee isn't something distinctive from center java in terms of lanaguage. yet specs are distinctive. It says approximately the thank you to bulid internet application, transaction, endurance .,etc. employing java
