In PowerPoint 2003:

1>Open/Create a PowerPoint file, select one slide, Right Click, and then click Backgroud.

2>Click on Pull-Down Menu, Choose the Fill Effects... .

3>Select the Picture tab at the top of the Fill Effects dialog box. Click on the Select Picture...button to locate the photo saved on your computer.

5>Click on OK to add the picture to the slide background. You can select Apply to All or Apply button



In PowerPoint 2007:

1. Select the slide that you want to add a background picture to.

2. On the Design tab, in the Background group, click Background Styles, and then click Format Background.

3. Click Fill, and then click Picture or texture fill.

4. To insert a picture from a file, click "File", and then select the picture that you want to insert from your computer.

5. To use the picture as a background for the slides that you selected, click Close.

Hi,

Just follow the given steps>>

Right-click on a blank area of the slide and choose Background from the shortcut menu. Alternatively, you can select Format > Background from the menu to bring up the Background Color dialog box.

Downloaded as in run-time downloaded? As in it downloads the background from a website when you run the presentation?



If so, i imagine it'd have to be done with a macro.. and it'd probably be tricky... But if that's what you're asking for, and it's absolutely necessary, a way can be found. You can contact me and let me know that's what you need, and we'll see what we can do...

if you are using Office 2007 write mouse click on the slide ---->format background---->click the picture or texture to fill ---->select insert from file----> point the download picture to use the background



in office 2003



Write mouse click on slide select background---> select the pull down menu ---->select fill effects---->select picture tab----- here you can point your downloaded picture for background
