Hello, I am Liam Raven the Owner of Technix
- a UK based Website Design Company that I formed in 2008.
Since the beginning of 2008 we have begun work on 2 projects both of which were due to launch 2 weeks ago. However we are still in the late stages of designing and adding content to our 2 projects.
This is due to several issues we had early this year which are still ongoing, but is nothing for you guys/girls to be worrying about.

I'll get to the point. I am the designer for the websites we make as well as the one who creates most the content although some content e.g. Downloads and information gathering for content that I string together must go to the others.
We have hit a small ditch in the road of our project paths, as I said they were scheduled to be released 2 weeks ago however our MySQL man/ Web master and all round HTML guy decided it would be a good time to go on holiday. He was due back a week ago and since then has avoided all contact I have tried to make with him, I even saw him on his bike and he quickly turned around and biked off, so I know he’s back in town and for some reason doesn’t want to talk to me.

This leaves me in a bit of a situation. I basically can't rely on him anymore. Therefore I am looking for a new Web master.

By now you may be asking what do i need and how much?

Well you definitely need some experience in making websites.

MySQL - Definite
PHP - I think you need this for some stuff to do with MySQL database creation.
HTML - Definite (the basic web master language)

I'm sure some of you are going to be put off by what I’m about to say but the money we have to pull off these 2 projects is about £10, I'm funding that myself. However, you will get a spoil of the rewards (If it all works and we make millions.)

I haven’t mentioned the projects. But it shouldn’t really matter, they are good ideas and will work. If you want a basic information preview its-

Gaming - The image above shows our old header (I made a better one the 2nd time)
Collectables - This site is backed up by a company that has been around for around 20 years, we are supplied by them although we have to manage the site and update it etc. (this deal is secure and fully covered)

On the gaming site we will need around 6 MySQL Databases. (This was the 1st project we started and is what we really focused on, however this may change as the 2nd project is secure)
The Collectables site will need 1 MySQL database and possibly a 2nd if we decide a user system is necessary.

This is just some quick math we did - we don’t really mind how much cash it brings in we just wanted a bit of money coming in so we didn’t have to rely as much on our day jobs and we could pocket a bit for spending. So the estimated amount we plan to make in year 1 for project 1 (Gaming) is around £7000 and the estimated for Project 2 is around £6000. However if we get the ball rolling and stop getting caught up in issues such as this I’m sure we could get some added features into project 1 which may double its revenue.

If you decide you like this and we manage to work together then there may be some more sites in the hiding in the pipeline but I’m not going to reveal them just yet.

I don't want to say too much, so I’m going to stop typing now and let you ask questions.

Thanks

I suggest you check out sites like http://GetaFreelancer.com/ . Those types of sites allow you to make an account and set up the work description and pay range for work you want done.

Your explanation for the work left to complete sounds extensive and quite a bit for just a new webmaster.

I suggest you use Elance.com to find a good freelance web developer. That site is overloaded with good web developers.

I like helping and could do the job, but I need compensated pay for what you describe and that seems to be the "catch" in this situation.
