Why not just open Photoshop, and use SHIFT and/or CTRL to select multiple files and then click open. This doesn't work to open files in (sub)directories, but it does work to open multiple files at once. Opening a lot of files at once will slow down your computer though.
Other options are using the Bridge or a batch to automate an action.
EDIT/ I see you added additional details. What I would recommend is the following. Open Photoshop. Then open an explorer window and brows to the folder. Type in the search field: "*.*" or if all the files have the same extension type in: "*.jpg" or "*.psd" etc. depending on the extension. After the search you'll get one list of files. Select the files with SHIFT or/and CTRL and drag them to Photoshop. Photoshop will open all the files. However, I don't recommend this. Opening 300 files at once is not something you should do. Start with trying to open a 50ish files first.

Not sure about sub folders but you can select however many you like from 1 folder to open simultaneously. Bear in mind that Photoshop, although excellent software requires a lot of memory and processing power. I have never opened more than 20 to work with but I did open a folder of 100 just to try it, It worked but much more slowly

That's 300 images. I don't know the size of each images, but still that's a lot.
You can create new action to open them up.
For example, record your action by opening a subfolder, select everything, and open them. Then you can repeat your action as many as you want.
If you are trying to do same set of specific commands for each images, again you can use action. Open up one file, record your actions; stop it; And apply your action to all files including subfolders.
