Where can I request a website layout to be designed?

Basically a friend wants to start their own website, but needs a great layout to be designed. He doesn't know anyone who can build one. Is there a great, reliable website where he could request a custom layout to be designed? He is willing to pay. Thanks!

You can try looking in your local listings for a local web design company. You can also post a listing on Craigslist.org under computer gigs requesting a web designer (be aware you will get a lot of responses from lots of companies out of state. I would stick with someone local you can meet with) you can also post the project on elance.com.



Most important thing is to verify the designers prior work and maybe some references.
