If i start my web development career as a front end developer due to lack of jobs in back end php development , can i later switch career in back end php web development ? In other words , will the experience of front end development help anyway to find a back end php developer's job?

There isn't PHP front end. PHP is a server-side, very back-end language.

But sure, knowing front-end development always helps when transitioning from front to back-end development. That's exactly the way I did it, learned HTML, CSS and most Javascript first, then moved on to learning PHP.

PHP is a module in a webserver - it only runs when somone is accessing a web page. To me, that makes it a front-end lanaguage, generating HTML seen by customers or users, same as Javascript except it runs on the server not the browser. Back end would be something never seen by users, like SQL or C++ or Java.

But I'd think any coding experience would help with finding coding jobs, though perhaps not so much for getting a job as a chef.
