How to install IIS in XP?

We are using WINDOWS XP Service pack 2 OS. I need to install IIS in it. Now i have only XP Cd with no service Pack.When i try to install IIS using that CD it prompt to put the XP CD that have Service pack 2 in it. Then how i install IIS in my system.

You need service pack 2 XP

you need to have windows XP prof cd

(i`m not shore but i think on home edition IIS is not inscluded)

insert the cd into the cd-rom and the autorun shuld start setup . if it doesn`t browse to cd and double click on setup



click on "add aditional tasks" or smoething like that and you`ll find "install internet information service" (iis) option there.



click on it and follow the steps.

go to start - settings - control panel - add/remove programs, then on the left side click on add/remove windows components then a box will pop up and just scroll down til u see it, put a check next to it and hit okay and it will start to install
