I am a computer programmer with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and have experience developing applications software.

I would like to learn how to be a web-developer, using Java, HTML, CSS, JDBC, JSP. Is there is good place to learn this online?

There are tons of resources online, and some fantastic books too!

I recommend reading:

- HTML for the World Wide Web with XHTML and CSS: Visual QuickStart Guide, Student Edition by Elizabeth Castro

- CSS Mastery by Andy Budd with Cameron Moll and Simon Collison

On the internet, as an extremely helpful resource and simple learning source:

http://www.w3schools.com

Hope this helps, good luck, and have fun!

I have used w3schools for all basic programming concepts.

Good that you have experience developing applications software. This will help you easy grab, learn faster all the java, HTML, JDBC, JSP as you have basic programming knowledge. You can learn HTML online from w3schools, htmlcodetutorial, echoecho, html.net. For CSS w3schools is best. For JSP use jsptut, visualbuilder; for JDBC use oracle or jdbc tutorial.

You may want to try the Java version of Google AppEngine.

You can refer to the documentation on the official website for a start.

If you are not familiar with HTML and CSS, you may refer to w3schools.com.
