I recently did a restore and it froze, so i rebooted and allakazam instead of being 30 minutes everything was installed in 5! well everything exept Java, now i can't run limewire any more cause of this! as well i get an error message saying error loading c:\programfiles\java\jre1.5.0_05\bin\client\jvm.dll i've been to java's website and tried to re-intall java from there, no luck!!
any suggestions? also at system start up i get a message about a virtual machine not being able to load, symantec is listed in one of the file paths, 16-bit dos subsystem is the header to this window, i removed symantec right after the restore.

Gaggaallaa!! The restore point 'z'nt right, your system facing lots of problem during startup Sequence. The virtual machine it is telling abt, is Java Virtual Machine, which is responsible for any nd every java based activity, thats why u r gettin error. i suggest you to run XP reinstallation by Update, it will replace the corrupted files n apps. Then uninstall Java completely >> restart >> then intstall java n others.

hmm... The symantec... use Registry Cleaner after XP update. n remove all faulty traces.

Gud Bye n

've a nice fixing... :)
