Creating My Own Template On Freewebs?!?

Question

So basically, I feel very very confused. I go to freewebs, create an account, then I go to the templates and the one where it says create your own. Yet the problem with this is I haven't got a clue how to work this stuff. I made my own layouts and stuff before and no matter what CSS code I put in nothing works. I don't even know how to change the background.

when I cast that code it doesn't even work. Then I go to the inspect elements section and I change it there. Is that how you are supposed to do it by going to the inspect elements? I mean I have CSS knowledge about the divs and stuff but I don't even know how I'm supposed to create my own here let along delete the links so I can create my own. I haven't got a clue how I'm supposed to add my own banner. Or my own tables. I learned CSS that is how I create random pages on notepad just for fun and a whole poetry website on myspace.

Please help me?!

good 1st of all you want really a couple of graphics, then gain knowledge of css and html, It will take time so i could say get an present body and difference it closely :P its really amusing and moneymaking :)
