I've been doing maintrame Quality Assurance for about 7 years now, and my company is rabidly sending most work overseas. I love technology, and would love to stay in this field. So if I want to prepare a 'Plan B', what are the ideal, marketable and employable technology skills to look into?

I think in tech you need to constantly be updated

update your skills to latest J2EE technologies like EJB, Servlet and also latest web technologies like SOA, ESB and Web services. along with AJAX and database knowledge. you can get a lot of implementation in open source like JBoss and some database implementations.
