I had created a domain name for my personal use from this dream host website and had registered for their service. But after a few days I saw that the domain never really worked and inspite of my 4-5 emails sent to the tech support team nobody has answered back. There is also no other way to contact these people.Inspite of my constant emails nobody has answered me yet from the tech support team even today.

I am quite frustrated now bcos these people havent even provided their contact number so there is no way I can approach them now.The registration is lying idle and Im just somehow trying to get a refund from them since they have a 97day money back policy.
But today I got a mail frm the sales that its too late to cancel my registration so now im begining to think abt this institution as a sham as I am getting a feeling of being cheated. So what is the solution to this?? Can I take some legal action against these people? If so where do I go and how to do it?
Four answers:
No.

What do you mean by "the domain never really worked"? I use DreamHost for several websites... their control panel is really very easy to use. If you go to Manage Domains, make sure that it is set to Fully Hosted, and try accessing the page again.

It's impossible to get your money back on a domain name - if you read the fine print it will probably say money back on hosting only. In fact, that's exactly what it says. #7:

“97-Day Money-Back Guarantee” offer only applicable to credit card or Google Checkout payments for shared web hosting. Other forms of payment are non-refundable. Dedicated server payments are non-refundable. Domain registrations (including the value of any used free domain registrations included with the plan) are not refundable under any circumstances.

For the domain name, your best bet is to transfer nameservers to another hosting server, cancel hosting services with them. A couple of months down the line, transfer registrars for the domain name.

Can you tell us how does it not work? not pingable or there's some error on the website? Have you tried to contact their support for solution? If they can't fix problems, probably you need to find a new hosting from http://www.webhostpark.com
