Is my R4i-SDHC kernel fake? Or am I doing something wrong?

I recently bought a R4 SDHC card from nds-card.com and have recently been having problems with loading up the menu. http://www.nds-card.com/ProShow.asp?ProID=450 this is the exact card I bought btw. I used downloaded kernel here as stated on the box http://r4i-sdhc.com/downloade.asp . I downloaded the R4i-SDHC kernel 1.12d English version. The error that im getting is when I tap the icon on the DSi menu and it says "loading..." and "www.r4i-sdhc.com" and stay like that. Ive left if on that screen for about an hour and still nothing. I dont think that card is fake because the build quality of the card its self is really solid, no lose or flimsy parts. The only reason I think this might be fake is ive never seen a card like this on youtube or online.

Which card you mean, is it this one http://gamedepot4u.com/r4i-sdhc-3ds-rts-p-190.html if it is , Maybe you need to download the latest firmware v1.79b from www.r4i-sdhc.com Since the latest r4i sdhc rts card can suppport the latest v1.45 DS CONSOLE.,Firstly please do not forget to format your sd card

Generally speaking, you should have no problem downloading and installing the firmware from the official site for the card. I have that card as well, or at least I think it's the same card from here: http://www.r43ds.org/products/R4-3DS-RTS.html and I use the firmware kernel from their site and I have had no issues at all. I think the problem you have is that you are putting the wrong firmware kernel on your card. The www.r4i-sdhc.com card is a different card, and the firmware kernel for that card, won't work on the r4 3ds rts card at all, and that is why you have a blank screen that just says loading or nothing at all.



Normally, from power up to get to the menu, it should take no more than a few seconds.
