Depending on which browser you're using there are a few ways.

Mozilla Firefox 2.0.x: Tools > Options > Content > Enable JavaScript

Mozilla Firefox 1.0.x: Tools > Options > Web Features > Enable JavaScript

Internet Explorer 5.x & above: Tools > Internet Options > Security > Custom Level. Scroll down to Active scripting & click Enable.

Opera 6.x & above: Tools > Quick Preferences > Enable JavaScript

Netscape Navigator: Edit > Preferences > Advanced > Scripts & Plugins. Go to Enable JavaScript for & click Navigator.

Safari: Safari Menu > Preferences > Security > Enable JavaScript. Close the window & restart Safari

To turn on JavaScript follow the following steps

1)Tools>Internet Options>Security

2)In "Security level for this zone" click "Custom Level"

3)Scroll down and find "Scripting" section

4) In "Active Scripting" select enable.

Press "OK" and "Apply"

Restart your system and javascript would be enabled

if ur using mozilla goto tools --> settings --> Content --> Enable Javascripts (or something like that) for Internet Explorer goto Tools --> Internet Options --> Advanced (look for multimedia) -->make sure everything in that section is checked apart from the top one and the thrid last one.
