for my work i need to talk about an efficient computer program and say why it is efficient, any ideas? thanks

Ubuntu Linux is a very efficient Operating System because its always fast and never slow Like Windows



its a Unix-Like Operating system such as the Mac from Apple!



its always secure and graphics is outstanding! You'll never experience slow internet unless your own internet provider slows it down or a technical error from the router alone unlike Windows due tu Fragmentation and bad clusters on the hard disk!



Lots of High Quality Games are beginning to be written for open Source Linux using Steam and its a matter of time before the world realizes what they are missing and big corporations begin to write more software for linux.



Linux is a free and Open Source Operating System and you have nothing to lose to learn how to use it and there many more free linux distributions!



The famous Unix-Like distributions (PS3, Mac Book Pro, IPad,SmarTV,IPhone, Android and etc..) that the world relies on are private!

I would say the embedded database library called SQLite. It's a small, efficient database utility that's meant to be included in other programs. So, the author left out all the unnecessary features. The binary for SQLite is only about 400KB in size. On the other hand, enterprise Oracle has disk requirements of up to 4 GB!
