Blank screen with a "pdf" file on Mozilla Firefox?

Question

How to I get Mozilla Firefox to show a pdf? It will not load any pdf pages and I am trying to do a government form that is all pdf formatted.

You should download and install the Acrobat Reader plugin for Firefox. [https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/plugins]



Alternatively, you can download and install Fox-it Reader [http://www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf/rd_intro.php] which is smaller and faster than Acrobat, but does not actually integrate into Firefox AFAIK. It just opens the pdf in another window where you can use it.

It might take awhile to load, I know I've had problems with it before. Either just wait awhile and don't touch the computer and hope it'll show up, or right click the link and choose to download it so you can open it with Adobe Acrobat..

I think you have to download pdf files and view them in Adobe Acrobat which is available for free from www.adobe.com

If your computer is not working properly while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software.

go to control panel click on add and remove programs and delete firefox.
