Question:
which programming language should i learn?

I am a 15 year old guy. I love computers and i like the work which software programmers do. So, I also want to pursue a career in it. But I am confused about which programming language to learn.
Actually I want to learn a language which will be in demand in future (Some 6-8 years after later).
I studied C last year in school and have completely forgotten it. But I know how to make some add or subtract programs in java. Should I continue to enhance my Java skills or should I learn some other language. Some people say that C# will be in demand in future. Also give a website where i can learn the language.

The important thing to remember is that there is no single language that will be the most popular in the future.

Instead of worrying about the language, you should focus on learning the fundamentals of programming which you can then apply to learn any new language as you need to.

C# and Java are in fact very similar, but I would say Java is more simple and would be a good one to learn.

Oracle have their own tutorials:

Or a quick Google will find you many others.

VB.Net is the most popular windows programming language over the world i recommend learning it as a begining because it is very easy and strong then you should learn an advanced language like C++ (the strongest language) and Java (very strong language) also C# is very strong language and somewhat easy.

I use VB.NET in all my apps, I find it a really easy language.. like if you were talking to someone.

But I recommend C++ and Java as they are the most advanced and the most used languages right now and I think they will be in the future.. Wish you good luck learning! :D

I would recommend java. Most software engineers and programmers use java.

w3schools.com is a great, free, online website that can teach you some programming

Go for Java and/or C++. C# is part of a proprietary framework controlled by Microsoft, so it's not really something you want to be committed to.
