I'm searching for a group of tech guys who are willing to share their knowledge at least once a week. It could be also a school just as long as it's after 6pm. I'm living in greater NYC (Queens)

I dont know of any group that meets your specifications and I hope you are able to find one but if you are unable to find one I suggest http://w3schools.com/sql/default.asp, it helped me learn SQL. It is a great site, written by proffesionals and it has extensive examples and tutorials and even has a practice field where you can type in code and see the results.

It isn't actually separation of church and state in America but the Establishment clause and this means a state religion can not be established and saying prayers in a public school would suggest that there is a state religion. I went to school when prayers were still being said and I resented it, even among Christians there are differences in sects so there are Christian Ministers and perhaps priests but of that I am not certain but I have heard ministers who objected to it. What that teacher and coach are doing is not Constitutional.

It sounds to me like you're looking for a quick fix/hack for your projects. There are Access User Groups (google this) in most major cities and they have regular meetings. (F1 key is also a great source of basic information while working in MS products).
Highly recommended if you want more than a hack:
a - Microsoft Professional Training (http://www.microsoft.com/en/us/default.aspx)
b - The myriad books available online and in libraries/bookstores.
c - The best source for well-constructed and supported online education in computing science - Athabasca University (great pricing and value!):
d - Source code sites (www.planetsourcecode.com is an example) have thousands of snippets to learn from.

Try adult ed at Queens College, or the Hall of Science Amateur Radio Club (I guess I don't have to tell you where they meet, but if I do, it's near the Unisphere - http://www.hosarc.org/portal/ ).

MySQL - the most popular database used on the Internet (I think)... has training.
