Can anyone help me with linux ftp server?

I am uploading a file to ftp server from my desktop wjen I type put and file name, I get error could not upload entering ftp passive mode.

This raises more questions than we can answer in a single post, a few weeks back i discovered the drown ssl, anyhow.



Is it your FTP server? is it using openssl / TLS is it blocking SSLv2&3 is it set up correctly, which ftp software is it? vsftp? proftpd? pureftpd? WU-ftpd? Bulletproof ftpd? Zilla Ftp?



See saying an error happens just before passive mode, is WAY not enough, we dont even know which linux.
