How to setup php development environment over my 'Wordpress on WAMP' installation?

Hi, I am new to php and wordpress. I have installed wordpress on wamp server in my laptop, how would I setup php development environment? I need that to customize the themes and plugins I may download. Kindly help! Thanks!

If you have installed wordpress in wamp server than the php development environment is already made so now you can download and place the themes and plugins to wordpress directory and you can edit wordpress by loging in to you'r wordpress account

You have to access inside wordpress directory wp-content/plugin for plugins and theme for theme
