Create a member based community/social network website.?

Greetings!

So im looking to create a website that has these functions:

* Person signs up
* Creates a profile
* Posts listings/ offers services

Then after that, that service/listing is then displayed on a home page that everyone (after signed in) can see. Like a main local page.

What would be difficulties with this? Anyone know where I can find a service to do this for me?

Or

I can do this on my own, do i need to use php and MySql to create a data base with the users? Is this possible on Dreamweaver CS6?

If you know php/MySQL, yes you can do it with dreamweaver. Also you can use ultimatewb - it has all those features built-in and you can fully customize it. It's easy to use and saves a lot of time. It's good software to use because you can even add/edit your own coding if needed.

Don't go with scratch coding on PHP. This will take more time and money. Instead you may use any open source CMS(php based). Have you tried Elgg? It's social networking software. Like PHPbb and Wordpress, its free php script for managing your own social network. If you are hosted on goddady they will install it for you, also free.
