You need to get a real (paid) hosting in order to do all of that. The good thing is that you'll also get a real domain name like www.yourwebsite.com. And you don't have to pay a lot.

I recommend one of these http://www.webhostingtable.com

Fatcow has the best offer right now.

Their standard price is $88/year

but they have the 50% sale right now.

Disk space: Unlimited

Bandwidth: Unlimited

A Free domain name

Unlimited domains and subdomains

Price: $44/year

They're one of the oldest hosting companies, founded 1998, they're also one of the largest, currently hosting about 500,000 websites.

Their hosting plan includes a web builder, so you can create your site just by drag and drop (without any programming), or you could install Wordpress (easy, one click install from their control panel), choose a theme that you like, and start adding content.

No, you are definitely not asking too much. :)

This is the best way to create a successful business from home. It is a program that helps you make websites, and it is how I created my vacation website.

Click on the link below. (It is the link to a page on my website. Once you're there, scroll to the bottom of the page where it says "Make Your Knowledge Sell" and click on that button. It will take you to a page where you can learn everything you want to know about program)

You can sell stuff on your site if you want .. but there are many other ways to make money with your site, and the instructions explain all the different ways. I know several people who have made a site this way, and it has become their main source of income.

The instructions are very thorough and is perfect for beginners. You really don't have to know a thing about computers to be successful with this program - it explains everything you need to know. The people who created this program knew what they were doing.

You have complete control over your site, and you can make your site about anything you want.. But the program will guide you, and keep you from making mistakes that many other webmasters make. You can also update it very easily.

I highly recommend you look into this.

All the best to you!

If you don't like the look and feel of any of the wordpress or blogspot blogs, you may be in for a costly project.

There are some other free packages that can be bent into whatever form you want (I like Gallery2) but there is cost involved in the bending.

For instance, look at marywillsussman.com. This is a WordPress, Gallery2, and custom CMS solution. It took some work to get it right.

You might want to do a design project to figure out what you want and what it will take to do.

Is not easy if you start and learn to do every single bit by your own. The easiest way I could find is to get a solid foundation done for you and get the training to use the tools provided. Check the link in the source to see what I'm talking about.

You have the best offer available for a newbie, including the training, a hands-on IMHO.

It is easy to start your own blogging web site. Check http://neond.com

You can install blogging script with one click and start blogging.

You can also use free site studio provided on that web site to create your own web pages without any technical skills. On NeonD home page, click Support and then Video tutorials. You can learn how to set up and manage your web site.

Learn HTML, CSS, PHP and MySql. If you dont have time to learn, then get with a professional programmer (cough right here cough) and they will make it look however you want it to.
