.PNG files not working?

My dad bought me my laptop last year in February and ever since then it seems to just not recognize .PNG files. I draw a lot of digital art and saving in .PNG has always made the art look more clear than .JPEG but I gave up and have been saving in .JPEG. Now I need my laptop to identify the .PNG files so I can make custom Minecraft skins for me and my little bro, but it just won't work. Anytime I try to open a .PNG file it says it's not the right kind of document.

If anyone has an idea of what it is that is preventing my laptop from recognizing these files or a link to something that might help I'd really appreciate it!

Hi Friend,

I can understand the problem you are facing.

Try to download and install the png and psd file viewer, following url provides one of such viewer.

Also, if possible try to install adobe photoshop. It will automatically install all required codec for all image type currently available.
