You need photoshop. Gimp may do it but it may not do it correctly. Do a save as jpeg.

.psd file is Photoshop and mainly used to keep all the working pieces of a Photoshop image in progress. So, open it in Photoshop --> SaveAs... and then select the .jpg format. That's for Photoshop 7.0. If you have Photoshop 5.0 then slightly different command ... Save A Copy.
PaintShop Pro and some of the other image programs might be able to import the .psd and then do like I tell you above.

In adobe photo shop just click file >save as from the drop down list choose jpg it the save as type drop down list instead of psd

The Gimp is pretty good at file conversion. Just open your file and then save as .JPG

Open the file in PhotoShop and select "Save as..."
Select JPG.

If you made the image, go to save as and click the small arrow to the left of the file name and change it to jpeg (but if for publication on internet, png works better) If you are trying to view the image first download it to your computer then open Adobe Photoshop and then save it as a Jpeg or, once again, png works better for internet. Hope that helps.
