Which database is better at building the website/app, Mysql or Postgresql? Its a food delivery business which handles thousands of orders per day with thousands of menus and orders being processed.

It will be heavy on traffic and usage, so can anyone with experience in the field help explain it to me, I need the website/app(ios/android) to be extremely responsive and fast at all times.

Thanks for any help.

MySQL!

It's the most used database and not that hard at all, http://www.icode4u.tk is a new site who makes free sites for you, however if it needs to be a really, really, pro-pro-professional site it isn't your best bet...

But it's free!

Anyway, mySQL is best! :)

PostgreSQL would be the best. While MySQL certainly is popular, PostgreSQL has more features, it's faster, more reliable, and supports PL/SQL making it backwards compatible with Oracle if you need to upgrade your database in the future. Just google"mysql vs postgresql" and you'll see lots of discussions about these two databases.

Hello

I use MySQL.

I think MySQL is a good choice.
