Whenever i click "view source" on a webpage it comes up as "original HTML source" not notepad. So when i click on it to edit some coding it wont let me and this is important because im trying to edit stuff, its really starting to pi*s me off.

You must be using ie8.
I have also found that this is now the new norm. for "view source" in ie8. My workaround is to use the file menu to save the original source file and then open the saved file in notepad.

Sounds like you'll need to reset the file associations for notepad. To do this open up a folder, click on tools > folder options, then on the top of the dialog box click file types. This will bring up a list of file extensions, just change all the associations to notepad where that other program is opening instead.

If IE8, you can roll IE 8 back to IE 7 with the Compatibility Menu. Don't have these problems because I use Firefox and only use IE (any version) to check web pages or view IE only sites.
