Just deleted Wordpress, can you help me?

Okay so I just deleted wordpress. I went into my cpanel and got rid of everything. I think. Anyway, my domain address shows

First of all, if wordpress is deleted that ofcource it might show 404 error or that Apache thing.



You cannot expect some page of yours, if you deleted your site.



Ofcource you won't be able to login into your Wordpress if you have un-installed it.



You have to install it again to log in to it.



Not exactly sure what you still mean, you can mail me if you have some problem.

It sounds like you're ok. I would expect a similar result from a website that has no index page.



What you can do now is re-install Wordpress, preferably with a new database. I would just use Fantastico to do this.



If you still have issues after installing Wordpress with no additional plug-ins, then your web host needs to get involved. That shouldn't happen on a fresh install.



One more tip, a bad or incompatible Wordpress plug-in can cause errors. When you lose access to your admin page, it's impossible to deactivate a plug-in in the normal way.



The solution is to simply go into CPanel File Manager and delete the suspect plug-in files. This will effectively remove the plug-in code from your system, and Wordpress will carry on without it. You may get a warning from Wordpress about missing plug-in(s). That's ok.



Hang in there. When it's all said and done, you can say it was a learning experience.
