I think it is an good idea for making a PowerPoint slideshow first.

With PowerPoint, you can add a lot of animations. You also can insert flash and import audio to the presentation. This can make your slide show more beautiful and interesting.

But these will make your PowerPoint invitation is so large that put on web. So I think you can convert it to flash as your presentation can be reduced the size by 80% and all media elements will be saved totally.

Then you can share it on the youtube. And then invite your friends by the URL address.

You can learn more details from: http://sameshow.com/powerpoint-to-flash.html

Hope it helps!

The song needs to be a compressed wav file.

You can compress using Cdex

Open Power point

Click Insert

Click Movies and sounds

Click sound from file

Browse and add song

Click automatically

Right click the sound icon

Click custom animation

Click song name then arrow

Click start after previous

Click arrow again

Click effect options

(Effect tab) In stop playing section add dot to stop and change to 999

Click the Timing tab. To play automatically, the

timing should be set to Start After Previous with a 0-second delay.

On the Sound settings tab, add check to hide sound icon during

The slide show

Click OK to close the dialog box

In tools, options general tab, link sounds with file size greater than, insert 50000

To set up the presentation, click slide show

Click slide transition to set up the slide show

Divide the amount of slides into the length of the song to equate the length for each slide

Speed-Your choice

Sound- (No sound)…Song will still play

Remove check On mouse click

Check automatically (Add the time for each slide)

Click apply to all slides

Hint: If you are trying to synchronize a song with the slides

and you find that the song is still playing when the slides end, just add the

last slide again

The steps for you insert music file on your powerpoint presentation:

Step 1. Download the song(s) in mp3 or .wav format that can be accepted by power point

As the MP3 format has the smallest file size, so you should download your songs for this format. However there is one big problem with mp3 files - you can only link but not embed mp3 files into PowerPoint.

Step 2. Insert the music in your PowerPoint presentation

From the main menu Insert > Movies and Sounds > Sound from file…

In addition, you can find out some detial steps for you create a integral powerpoint presentation, and then you also can convert it to the video format to upload the YouTube:

1. For the music. Go to the last slide, and select Insert -> Movies and Sounds -> Sound from File to insert your music file from your local drive.

Click OK, and you can see a message pop up asking how you want the sound to start in slide shows. Click Automatically.

That's it!

2. To make a love story photo slideshow video, see in this post "Make A Love Story Video With PowerPoint Pictures", at http://www.dvd-ppt-slideshow.com/blog/make-a-love-story-video-with-powerpoint-pictures/
