how to have a .php files?

i cant make *.php files? im using vista, icant install php
plss help

You need to get Apache server for Windows and install the PHP5 module onto it. You will probably want to install MySQL server while you are at it. No point in using PHP without MySQL. It is all free software so no worries. It is a shame you are running it on Windows.



Trust me you will like using Apache much more than IIS. Apache is much more solid and easier to work with.



To write a PHP file use notepad or another text editor.

PHP5 runs just fine on Vista. You can even run .php files from a command prompt. Do what Mr. Blue Sky said. You can install it all by downloading http://www.apachefriends.org/en/xampp.html and running it. Your website will be http://localhost/ (no www.)
