Mambo is an open-source, PhP based solution that makes most of what you mention as easy as clicking. The development interface is GUI and simple to navigate - which makes great ease of integrating with MySQL (as MySQL is its native database). You can find it at http://www.mamboserver.com.

A common platform would be LAMP

L - LInux for the Operating System

A - Apache for the Web Server

M - MySql for the database

P - PHP for the Server-Side-Scripting

That could be your complete solution and they're all free or open-source

You best bet is PHP using an AMP (Apache, MySQL and PHP) server. Its a scalable and mature combination, plus being free sure does help.

often, those structures have 2 drawbacks. they are often extraordinarily costly, and that they do no longer do "precisely" what you want. A one length suits all, out of the container, completely customizable, employer-each thing appication is a BS pipe dream. many of the time, those apps are epensive and require a 0.33 occasion broking to assist enforce.
