Here's the problem: jre.msi missing

Here are my system specs:
Windows XP Professional
Version 2002
Service Pack 3
Intel Pentium D 3GHz
2GB RAM

http://www.java.com/en/download/installe… told me "No working Java was detected on your system."

Here's what I've tried (all of these have the same result, "jre.msi missing"):
1. Downloading Java Version 7 Update 9 from http://www.java.com/en/download/index.js…
2. Downloading Java Version 7 Update 9 from http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.j…
3. Using the .msi file from C:\Documents and Settings\Name\Application Data\Sun\Java\jre1.7.0_09 (I think it's there because the download failed)
4. Downloading older versions of Java
5. When I try to uninstall, it still give me "jre.msi missing"

Still no solution. Been searching and trying for maybe four hours now. Does anyone know how to fix this?

No. eliminate it from the >administration panel> upload and eliminate classes. Than flow to C/software data and delete the java folder, reboot! P.S. I dont belive that jave is incompetible with ANY software different than VMWARE server 9.0 beta.
