I need someone to give me a BRIEF explanation of exactly how to display an rss feed on a page of my self hosted site. I do understand how complex/difficult it would be for someone to explain the full process, I am just a bit confused and need a few pointers.

I am trying to display my rss feed in a way that is similiar to this: www.OGAbel.com

I have tried to collect the info i need from the source code but still dont understand how this website is displaying the feed...is the site actually a wordpress theme? or is there a script that i can insert into my page that will collect it? Im hoping maybe theres a script that I can insert in my code that grabs my rss from my rss url...Maybe i need to use a wordpress plugin? As u can probably see, I am very confused, but i just need someone to offer some tips other than refering me to rss2html sites...

If anybody can help me further with this, it would be GREATLY appreciated....I have already messed around a TON with all of the html2rss sites and for whatever reason, have not been able to successfully accomplish my goal.

I am using Expression Web 3 for my site, and have everything done except for this one area. Currently, I just have an empty div on my home page (in the location where id like to have my feed displayed)....

Thank you soooo much to anybody that is willing/able to help me or wlak me through this complication (I know it may be a bit ridiculous that im having so much difficulty, but i just cant get it! )

Sheesh, I wish I knew exactly how, but all I did was once look up a code and paste it from there.

The thing I used was a book called "blog design solutions," and it explained how to "set up" an rss feed.

Basically what happens is that the feed is stored in an xml file, and that file changes every time the page corresponding to that feed changes. When there's a change in the feed file (the xml file), anyone who has subscribed to your rss will have an "unread" sort of a thing inside their feed reader.

That tells them that new stuff is available to read, or look at or whatever.

If you wish to make an rss feed available to someone, so that they can add it to their reader, you basically link them to your xml file which contains your dynamic feeds.

Hope I helped a little, but I'm sure other answerers here know much, much better.
