that's how mailto command works

it takes you to the default system mail program

you can't go to web-based mail system

The reason it opens up Outlook is because the mailto function calls on the default email editor. Outlook just happens to be YOUR default. On a website, it will open up the user's default editor. Which is not likely to be yahoo...

Now, if you want them to be able to send you email easily, make a contact mailer form. The scripts are pretty widely available....but you will need a mailer to send it through, or you will need to use the PHP mail function.

Set Yahoo Mail as your default mail editor.

Open IE click tools>> internet Options>> Programs and Set Email to Yahoo Mail.

To link from an image, you'll want something like:

I'm not sure you'll be able to dictate where the link goes without some slightly in-depth coding. It's often the end-user's system that will decide what to do with a link.
