where can i download free software for UML modelling?

i need to find software or a way to draw/represent how iam going to build a web site using uml! any ideas

search the web for argoUML or try www.argouml.tigris.org, it's free tool and you will be able to download it for sure. it's also helpful for activity diagrams and others.

For uml stuff i tend to use poseidon for uml - there is a community edition i've used for my own uml projects, and it's ace - have a look at http://www.gentleware.com/ce.html



The only differences between the communtiy edition and the paid for version are a few advanced options, but if you're just laying out how the pages of a website interact then storyboarding might be a better idea.

im doing uml in college and we use violet its a webstart application that dosent download but works through the internet.do a search for violet and at the top of the homepage click try.its a very good application
