Like the first answer, if the files are on the remote server then it's most likely a server issue unless they have given you a delayed live date for your service. Try accessing the main page by typing the domain address followed by the main page identifier, for example if your domain is registered as www.yourwebsite.com and your main page is named as index on your server try www.yourwebsite.com/index. If that doesn't bring any joy give your domain host/server help desk a ring and ask if they can shed any light on the situation. Good luck

The primary answer is correct. Hold in intellect that after a website is published, revisions will still need to be made. And, once in a while extra revisions (price alterations, and so on.) So, you'll have to make certain that website upkeep is handled as good. In any other case, which you could enable the designer/programmer to add along with your log-in and alter the password afterward for those who plan to participate in your own website online upkeep.

Try putting it in the "www" folder, that happened to me literally about 20 minutes ago. Same problem, that fixed it. Hope this helps.

Also try http://domain.com instead of http://www.domain.com or the other way round, As sometimes the server might be redirecting the domain address....

Did you save the homepage as "index.htm"? If so, then it may be a server-side issue.

Did you upload to the proper folder? It might be "public", or "html".
