I have uploaded my files through filezilla. But when I go to my website, they ask for a login, then I am sent to a page that shows a listing of my files. When I click on my index.html (or any of my other files) I get a message that says "550 can't change directory to /Intro1.jpg: no such file or directory."

/Intro1.jpg does not exist. I deleted it the other day. What is the problem? I need to have this site up for a class grade. Please help me.

the filezilla logo says:

Once the remote directory shows the directory FileZilla logged into, (Response: 250 OK. Current directory is /), you have to expand the "/" directory until you find the actual root directory of your web site. This is the public_html directory. This is where your index.html must reside along with the rest of your site in their proper relationship with each other.

It sounds like you have your ftp account on your website setup to log into that directory. When you setup ftp accounts, you also choose where they can go to. Double check your account settings to see the folder its set to login to. If its your account, it should be the default main folder, not a folder you made.
