Wordpress slow website?

Hey guys,

My website is really slow - images and music not even loading sometimes.

(In my gallery, the images are white)
I have no idea what to do in order to optimize it as i am on a beginner level i cms websites.

Your website has images bigger than 1MB each! You need to optimize images and scale them. After that you will have a website that is faster at least 2x times. You also need to defer parsing of java-scripts in html head. Those two issues are most critical on your website in terms of page loading speed.

A lot of wordpress sites are very slow because on every page load every single plug-in and add-on will reload. Be sure to deactivate and uninstall any that you are not using, and consider if you really need the ones that you are.



Besides that consider lowering number of posts per page.

another thing, your google analytics script is giving me an error in the console. You might want to check your script.

You should plan your site for use on your visitor, or customer, first and foremost. You web-site should be easy to get around and easy for your people to read. It should be thoroughly clean and uncluttered, sharp and concise.
